A-LEVELLAW.COM: the right page YOU need to master A-Level Law.

When I transferred to the UK, I inevitably had to make certain educational adjustments to the new learning environment, content and teaching styles… especially concerning English Literature! A tough subject – that was, until my teacher introduced us to a website with resources created by a former student of hers. That is where the lightbulb was lit and a new idea was born…💡

I aspired to create a resource for my peers and leave something behind, so in February 2020 I came up with the idea of a-levellaw.com. ‘Pragmatic, easy to use and completely free‘, I thought, should be my vision for creating an online space for any Law enthusiast to expand their knowledge. And then, unexpectedly, arrived Covid-19…🦠

During lockdown, I exceeded my ambitions of serving just students in my locality – with users from over 150 countries, 6 continents and 15,000 visitors later, I feel assured in making Law at A-Level more accessible to those studying the subject or targeting enrolling on such a course.🗺️

I then pursued further studies at the University of Leeds and decided to target alternative horizons for gaining experience and skills, regrettably suspending work on my website. I kept the domain name and much to my surprise, the last two years saw an exponential growth in the website traffic. ‘So,’ I thought, ‘shall we give it another go?‘…🤔

My own observations have led me to conclude that law firms are extensively targeting students at the pre-university stage of their development. Logically, I want to expand into early careers (including apprenticeships) and entry-level university opportunities with a view of offering contrasting insights between post-secondary education paths. 💼

Mapping out the differences between career and educational choices for a younger audience is my unique selling point. It is such a competitive field that some law firms are even offering work experience to Year 10 students! How do I fit into this? My website offers resources allowing younger pupils to consider A-Level Law studies; it supports current learners with extra materials; and, it shall aim to crystallize where an A-Level Law course can accelerate one to. Be it further studies and attaining an even stronger educational background before joining the workforce, or trampolining straight into the job market…🚀

I will keep the current core pack of resources free as it has always been. I hope to be able to soon offer several career-enhancing services and products. Watch this space!👀
